If you've ever been lucky enough to have lived in New York for an entire year, you would have gone through the 4 seasons. You've dealt with the scorching heat in the summer and the blistering cold in the winter. Maybe you loved the heat, maybe you're into the cold but there is no denying that you love Spring and Fall weather here. After a harsh winter, Spring is upon us and the warm sun is starting to really show it's face. Once the city begins to bloom, tourist start to rush into the city, locals start to come out and w whirlwind of activities open up for everyone to enjoy. With famous sites at every turn and never enough time to see them all, I've come up with a small list of things I like to do in the Spring and hopefully it will inspire someone to go out there and do them as well.
First on my list is the Brooklyn Promenade.
It's a pedestrian walkway that offers amazing views of Downtown Manhattan, the East River and the Brooklyn Bridge. Not only is the view gorgeous, the neighborhood is absolutely gorgeous, with tons of other attractions and things to do within walking distance. Oh, and theres a Shake Shack within a 10 minute walk.
Central Park boat ride.
Just like flowers, romance blooms in the Spring. For $15 you can take your date to Central Park for a boat ride that will help you extend your Spring fling into the summer...I hope.
Coney Island Beach.
This one is usually a local thing to do but it's still a great experience for those visiting the city. There is so much to do here, you probably won't be able to get through it in just one day. If you're in the city and would like to catch a tan, go for some drinks and explore an amusement park, this is the place to go.
There are a million things to do in New York, these are 3 that I do every year and it never gets old. Hopefully some of you will enjoy these places as much as I do.
